Don't look at these containers and say "What are these....!!" . I try to be eco-friendly and recycle whatever I can. Some stores in our area sell foods in these sturdy plastic containers. I store bulky food (whole chicken, turkey, my most recent "Pasta Bomba" etc...) or to marinate meats and large foodstuffs. I also use them to freeze food items that I'd be using in the future since it is easy to write the date and contents on them with a pen. They are often microwave friendly so the leftovers can be safely transferred from refrigerator/freezer to microwave.
Another way to save the earth and the pocketbook.

I agree with you we must recycle all that we can! in my kitchen I do the same :)
I reduced all my plastic to a minimun, I only buy the plastic that can be recycled, I never buy small posts of yogurt, for example, but only the big bottles that go into the recycling bin. I buy food in cartons and not in plastic whenever possible, and food without packaging, I carry my own shopping bags... and yet... I keep finding so much plastic around!
Gio: Apperantly for the next generation.
Alessandra: I try to do the same but sometimes it is impossible to control. I even reuse plastic store bags as garbage can liner
Good idea!! My house is full of accessories and I don't want to throw ^_^
But for our Earth is very important!!

Franci- Yes you are right. I just keep what I need and the rest I haul it to a charity pick-up site. I've been de-cluttering my house a little at a time.
You hit the nail on the head...I am so down on myself. I admire your beauty outside and within. You are my role model. Thank you for the wonderful comment's, they do help me carry on.
Love you, Debbie
I love picking up one of these for a quick meal for the family. Great idea to recycle these - it screams 'birdfeeder' to me :) XOL
BeautifulDees: It is all within you. Never give up...
HappyHomemakerUK: I never thought of that. Good thinking
